Moving to a new home or downsizing can be challenging and feel overwhelming; we're here to make sure your next move is your best one.
Our goal is to help reduce, reuse, and recycle as much as we possibly can. This way your items go to someone who will use them, and it keeps them out of the landfill.

We specialize in senior moves and work with clients to customize services to meet their unique needs. When required, we coordinate moves and other services with move managers or vendors through the National Association of Senior Move Managers' (NASMM) extensive professional network. This can be particularly helpful for long-distance or out-of-state moves and to match client needs with the right professional services. These include selling exceptional antiques, estate jewelry, and fine art.

A word about our owner, Martha Frey, and Glimmerglass Move Managers
For over seven years, Martha was the Facilities Director for the Sisters of St. Francis of the Neumann Communities, a religious community with residential housing and campuses in three states. In that capacity, she oversaw and assisted with many senior moves, both large and small. This work included securing moving companies, disposing of personal property by sale or donation, total clean-outs of residential and institutional buildings, preparing properties for sale, and relocating hundreds of sisters into new homes. At times these moves included significant problem solving, space planning for new residences, and personalized move-ins.
Martha has worked with senior move managers and senior residential facilities specializing in independent, assisted, memory care, and skilled nursing living. “Just about everyone needs a helping hand when they downsize, move, or settle an estate. Each situation is unique, client-driven, and focused on personal needs and safety, especially when moving into a new home,” notes Martha. “There are often many tasks that require coordination and thoughtful consideration. With my assistance, clients can feel confident that they are making the right decisions.”
